Insurance Benefits
Emcore provides cost-effective medical, dental and vision plans where Emcore and employees share the cost of the plans. Employees have the opportunity to cover eligible dependents.
Life Insurance
Emcore provides Basic Life /AD&D insurance, at no cost to employees, up to one time an employee’s annual base salary. Employees also have the option to enroll in the voluntary life insurance plan for themselves and eligible dependents. Emcore also provides a company paid Long Term Disability Insurance benefit.
Employee Assistance Program
This program is 100% employer paid and provides confidential professional assistance to employees and their eligible household members in dealing with the challenges of everyday living.
401k
Emcore’s 401K Plan through Prudential Financial, allows eligible employees to contribute up to 15% of pay, based on IRS allowable maximums. Emcore offers a discretionary match of 50% up to 6% of salary in the form of Company stock.
Flexible Spending Account
The Flexible Spending Account Programs for Healthcare and Child Dependent Day Care are also available to pay for eligible health and child care expenses with pretax dollars.
Employee Stock Purchase Program
Emcore’s Stock Purchase Program allows eligible employees to contribute up to 10% of pay toward purchase of Emcore company stock at a discount. Emcore offers two enrollment periods for this benefit.
PrePaid Legal Services
This optional benefit provides assistance with real estate matters, wills, document preparation and other legal needs.
Tuition Reimbursement Program
Emcore offers reimbursement for tuition, fees, and books (up to an annual maximum) to eligible employees who complete educational studies at accredited schools and colleges approved under the program’s guidelines.
Employee Referral Bonus Program
Employees may be eligible for a referral bonus by referring candidates to open positions. Criteria for eligibility is outlined in the Employee Referral Bonus Policy.
Paid Time Off
Emcore offers a competitive PTO benefit. Newly hired employees may accrue up 16 days per year of PTO.
Paid Holidays
Emcore sponsors 10 company designated paid holidays per calendar year, including 1 floating holiday.
